4800 / 4850 SOFA
The 4800 sofa was designed by Henk Vos and has been part of the Gelderland collection since 1982. It was Vos' first design for Gelderland. The sofa has since become a modern classic in the collection. With its clear lines, excellent comfort and strong design language, this sofa can handle any interior.
The sofa is part of the iconic 4800 series, in which the options are endless.
For instance, in addition to a straight sofa in various versions, there are also several corner sofas, a loveseat and an armchair. There is also the 4850 series: the same iconic design as the 4800, but with a deeper seat making the sofa more of a lounge experience.
With the 4800 series, there is a wide choice of fabrics. Due to the sleek shapes of the design, we recommend a stretchy fabric such as wool, this will do justice to the shape.
All furniture in the Gelderland collection is entirely of Dutch origin. Our products are handmade in our Culemborg factory. We give a 20-year guarantee on the beechwood body and a 7-year guarantee on upholstery fabrics, leather and foam. In addition, our unique strip upholstery makes it possible to reupholster Gelderland furniture, making it last for generations.
